Artix Account Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a question about an Artix Account, Artix Points or games that use the Artix Account login such as EpicDuel, HeroSmash or OverSoul? Most questions are answered here!
Q. Is an Artix Account required to play Artix games?
A. The Artix Account login is required to play EpicDuel, HeroSmash, OverSoul and our minigames BladeHaven and PonyVsPony, but is not currently required to play other Artix Games such as AdventureQuest Worlds, DragonFable, original AdventureQuest and MechQuest which have their own logins.
Q. How do I create an Artix Account?
A. Click on the black Register button next to the Login button above. Your Artix Account name will be your email address. In order for us to help you recover a lost account, we require your real email address and date of birth. We will not sell or share your email address.
Q. How do I link my Game Accounts to my Artix Account?
A. After logging into your Artix Account, click on 'Link Game Accounts' to the left. Next, choose the game that you're linking, then enter your game account name and password. Then click the Link to Artix Account button. Also on this page you can see all of the game accounts you have linked. Game accounts cannot be linked to multiple Artix Accounts. Q. Why can't I login to my Artix Account?
A. If you are having a login problem, it could be as simple as sending you your password or updating your email. If you are not sure why you cannot login, please visit the Login Problems? Help Page. You can also email us through there if you need further assistance.
Q. How do I contact someone for help?
A. Most of our help pages have email forms! Emailing is the fastest and easiest way to get help and all emails are answered the same business day or the next business day, unless we have high email volume or it's a US holiday - then it can take up to 3 business days. All emails are answered by real people – we don't use fancy robots! More information can be found in our Contact Us Page.
Q. How do I become a mod, tester or staff member?
A. When EpicDuel, HeroSmash or OverSoul needs new Mods/Testers, they will make an annoucement in their Game Design Notes with more information More information can be found in the How do I become a mod, tester or staff member? Help Page.
Q. Can I remove a Game Account that I've linked to my Artix Account?
A. Click on 'My Games', then click the name of the account you want to unlink. Then click on 'Unlink Game Account' to the upper right. Game Accounts that exclusively use the Artix Account login such as EpicDuel, OverSoul and HeroSmash and Game Accounts that have spent Artix Points cannot be unlinked. Q. How can I play games once I've linked my game accounts?
A. Click on 'My Games'. This takes you to a page that lists all of your linked accounts. Each account has a Play Now link next to it. Click on the link to play game that you want to play. The game will open up in a new window.
Q. How do I purchase Artix Points?
A. Click on GET POINTS at the top of the page and then you can choose how many Artix Points you would like and can choose which payment method you would like to use, then follow the steps. Please visit the main Payment Help page which lists the payment methods we offer and how to pay with most of the payment methods such as PayPal and Credit/Debit Card.
Q. How do I spend Artix Points for Varium, AdventureCoins, a membership, etc?

Q. Where are the Artix Points I purchased?
A. Did you purchase Artix Points and didn't receive them yet? There could be two reasons you have not received your Artix Points yet - it hasn't been processed or approved yet or your payment failed/declined and if you used a debit card, you may see a temporary pre-authorization that will not post. Please visit the I paid for Artix Points but I haven't received them! or the I have a failed/declined payment issue! Help pages for more information, depending on what happened with your payment.
Q. I tried to make a payment and it failed/declined, what do I do?
A. If you tried to make a payment with a credit/debit card or PayPal and the payment failed or was declined, please visit the I have a failed/declined payment issue! Help page for more information. The most common reasons that a payment fails or is declined is from entering wrong billing/card information or there is some other kind of issue with your card, PayPal account, billing information or financial institution.
Q. How can I change my Artix Account password, email, name, etc?
A. Click on 'My Account', then click on 'Change Password' or 'Change Email' and go through the steps. If you need to update your signup email, please visit the How do I update my signup email for my Artix Account? Help Page.
Q. How do I report a bug/glitch for EpicDuel, HeroSmash or OverSoul?
A. For EpicDuel, please report any bugs to the EpicDuel Bug Forum. Staff members check the forums every day and if they need more information about a specific bug, they will reply to your post. For OverSoul and HeroSmash, please report any bugs to the Artix Entertainment Bug Hunter System.
Q. How do I report a site that is scamming/phishing/stealing, etc?
A. To report a site, such as a private server, a site that is phishing for player information and scamming players or a site that has hacks/cheats/bots, please email us through the Copyright Violations Email Form.
Q. Where can I find out about something in-game for EpicDuel, HeroSmash or OverSoul?
A. If you need more information about something in-game, please visit our Game Help Section for Information about the games, about the staff and BattleOn Forums information can be found there.
Q. I lost my stuff, what do I do?

Q. Why am I muted in EpicDuel, HeroSmash or OverSoul?
